A major oil and gas producer is looking for a Warehouse Shipper / Receiver for their location near Fort St John / Hudson Hope. This is a camp position on a 4/3 schedule with 10 hour days. The successful candidate will work either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. The first and last days of shift will include 2 hours of travel within the 10 hour day.
Technical Requirements Assignment Description:
Performs all activities to ship or receive materials and supplies in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, supply rooms, or predetermined designated areas.
Assists end users with finding and signing out materials.
Knowledge of the Corporate inventory procedures, methods and practices used in storing materials and supplies in warehouses.
Knowledge of the methods and practices used in receiving materials and supplies for warehouse deliveries including examination of shipment contents, inspection for damages or defects, compare with order records to verify accuracy and abiding by regulatory compliance.
Ability to read and interpret charts and/or maps of warehouse layouts for deliveries, shipments, and storage.
Required to operate motor vehicles (e.g., trucks) for product relocation.
Ability to operate manual carts, pallet movers etc. used in receiving, storing, and shipping materials and supplies.

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. to receive, store, and ship materials and supplies.
Role Description:
Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of materials and supplies on hand using manual or computerized methods
Work with external shipping/ couriers to align paper work to incoming freight
Ability to prioritize assignments and projects to ensure completion within established timeframes and by expected deadlines.
Frequently read supplier and manufacturer communications, memos and bulletins, storage and handling recommendations, standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, applicable standards and regulations, labels, signs, symbols, lists, forms, packing slips, and bills of lading.\
Completes posting logs for received goods electronically
Traces unaccounted for shipments and generates claims for lost claims or claims with defects.
Accountability and maintenance of loading dock and receiving area
Assists in cycle counting and year end count process
Participate in team meetings
Job Knowledge (a basic understanding of):
Use of the Corporate Purchasing Processes
Warehousing fundamentals for shipping and receiving material orders
Competency in Global Harmonized System/WHMIS, quality management and quarantine systems as governed by regulatory requirements
Warehousing fundamentals for receiving and packing material orders through issue of the work order document and return of material.
Utilize, complete and/or read product labels, shelving labels, warning and direction signs, inventory sheets, shipping forms, packing slips, bills of lading, work schedules, etc.
Pre-Requisites:
Familiar with computers, basic math and organizational skills
Minimum High School graduate
Proficient in Microsoft products - Outlook, Excel & Word
2 or more years of previous relevant experience
Fork lift certificate
